Audiovisual DeptThe Audio! English Words have a three-record back catalogue. Fancy Demo (released under the Smothered In Hugs moniker) is a six song EP, released in late 2007. They followed up with a full length recording, The Healing Power of Injury in 2009, also as Smothered In Hugs. Most recently, they celebrated the change of their name in 2010 to English Words by releasing a four song EP, Customer Appreciation. Currently, the band is looking at the studio again, considering another release for late 2010 / early 2011. Customer Appreciation was originally intended as a one-time special release, given out for free to the audience while celebrating the band's new name. The tracks are still available for free download (below). All 4 tracks are in mp3 format, ripped at a high-quality 256 kpbs. Share and enjoy! The Video! ... and Smothered In Hugs are no more. Introducing, English Words! The following video clip was recorded at Hunter's Alehouse, in January 2010, as Smothered In Hugs announced their official name change to English Words. Many a beer, and even some tears were spilled. The following video clip was recorded at the Delta Hotel in Charlottetown, while English Words headlined the Delta New Year's Ball. |
